On June 1st—International Children’s Day—PAALER Mat took a heartfelt step toward social responsibility by donating 3,915 pieces of its Ambo anti-slip mats to benefit 435 elderly families in Shanghai. Partnering with the Shanghai Charity Foundation, the donation was valued at approximately $15,000 USD, and specifically targeted one of the most overlooked high-risk areas in senior homes: bathroom shower rooms.
The Ambo series is one of PAALER’s flagship commercial matting solutions, made from eco-friendly materials and designed for wet zone slip resistance, ease of cleaning, and long-term durability. With over 1 million units sold, Ambo mats are widely trusted by five-star hotels, Disney backstage areas, KFC restrooms, and transportation hubs like metro and high-speed rail stations throughout China.
This donation marks the first time the Ambo series has been distributed on a large scale directly to residential homes, fulfilling PAALER Mat’s long-held belief that high-performance flooring products should benefit not only commercial environments but also the daily lives of families—especially those with elderly members.
“We design for more than just function—we design for dignity, safety, and impact,” said a spokesperson from PAALER Mat. “This project reflects our gratitude for the trust our customers have placed in us over the years, and our responsibility to give back through what we do best—safe, smart flooring.”
Last year, PAALER Mat also made a similar donation through the CEIBS Foundation. The company hopes to make such contributions an annual tradition, further integrating social welfare into its mission as a leading floor mat manufacturer and safety innovation brand.
